On April 17, we were honored to welcome community leaders, partners, supporters, and advocates to the future home of the Family Resource Center for a special press conference recognizing Stronger Families Month.
Held on the atrium patio overlooking the progress of the Family Resource Center, the event celebrated a shared commitment to strengthening children, families, and our community. We were grateful to be joined by leaders including Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson, State Representative Lee Snodgrass, Appleton Alderperson Connie Raether, members of the Citizen Review Panel, and many community partners who believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
During the event, a proclamation was presented recognizing Stronger Families Month and reinforcing the importance of investing in families during the earliest years of a child’s life. It was a meaningful reminder that creating brighter futures requires collaboration, connection, and a community that walks alongside families every step of the way.
As the Family Resource Center continues to take shape, moments like these remind us that this building represents far more than bricks and mortar. It is a symbol of what is possible when a community comes together around a shared vision: ensuring every family has access to the support, resources, and relationships they need to thrive.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone and for the continued partnership that is helping make this vision a reality. Together, we are building a stronger future for children, families, and our entire Fox Valley community.
