Hard Hats and Hearts Required

Hard hats were required as First 5 Fox Valley welcomed members of the media inside the future Family Resource Center for a behind-the-scenes look at just how far this five-story transformation has come.

But hard hats aren’t the only thing this project has required. There has been a whole lot of heart involved, too.

First 5 Fox Valley is incredibly grateful for the partnership of Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction and the many subcontractors and skilled tradespeople who have brought their expertise, care, hearts and hands to this project.

From thoughtfully restoring pieces of this historic downtown Appleton building to creating entirely new spaces designed around children, families and connection, there is tremendous care behind the work happening here every day.

Soon, these construction spaces will be filled with children playing, families connecting, partners collaborating, and people finding resources and support. The building that served the community for decades as the Trout Museum of Art is being thoughtfully transformed for its next chapter as the First 5 Fox Valley Family Resource Center.

Before the hard hats come off and the doors open, First 5 Fox Valley is sharing a glimpse behind the scenes at the people and progress helping make it possible.
