We are honored to announce that First 5 Fox Valley has been awarded a $250,000 Level 1 Engage grant through the Wisconsin Partnership Project Grant. This competitive grant will support our initiative, Advancing the Help Me Grow Model with developmental screening and family engaged monitoring, which aims to improve early childhood health, development, and family outcomes across Wisconsin.

With this funding, we will expand the evidence-based Help Me Grow (HMG) model to underserved rural and urban communities. This family-engaged developmental screening system connects families with children ages prenatal to five to essential resources, helping to address health disparities and inequities. Over the next three years, this initiative will impact the lives of 9,000 families, empowering them with tools and support to thrive.

The Wisconsin Partnership Program’s Community Impact Grant Program is designed to advance health equity by addressing the social determinants of health in rural, urban, and tribal communities. We are proud to be among nine organizations selected for this year’s awards, which support innovative, community-led approaches to critical health needs such as child development, housing, education, and nutrition.

We are deeply grateful for this opportunity to expand our mission and create lasting change for families in Wisconsin and express our gratitude to Insight Publications for locally showcasing this exciting accomplishment. To learn more about this initiative and other grant recipients, click here.
