Developmental Screening Expansion

The Developmental Screening Expansion project improves outcomes for young children living in Winnebago County by increasing the number of children that receive developmental screenings and creating access for families connected to resources and care through the Help Me Grow Centralized Access Point. First Five Fox Valley was awarded a Basic Needs Giving Partnership grant, which is supported by the U.S. Venture Fund for Basic Needs within the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation, the J.J. Keller Foundation and other community partners.

Funded Activities:

Increase developmental screening using the Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) and operationalize the Help Me Grow Fox Valley centralized access point.

Key collaborators:

Early Intervention Program – Birth to 3 (Outagamie & Winnebago counties), Family Services NEW, Oshkosh Area School District, ThedaCare, UW-O Head Start, Davis Child Care Center, and Winnebago County Public Health Department
