Together for Families brings family-serving organizations together to strengthen families, support children early, and create lasting community impact across the Fox Valley—inviting partners to share space within a collaborative, downtown hub designed to make support, connection, and care easier for families.
Opportunities within the Together for Families building include:
Office space for family-serving organizations seeking a collaborative, on-site presence within the Family Resource Center
A full-floor early learning / child care space designed to support programs serving young children and their families
Located at 111 W. College Ave. in downtown Appleton, the Together for Families building is intentionally designed to support both organizations and the families they serve.
We offer three agreement models to support organizations at different stages and service levels, thoughtfully designed to encourage presence, collaboration, and family engagement. Collaboration Is Part of the Commitment
Space sharing at Together for Families means being part of a connected system of care — one designed so families experience the building as a unified, welcoming community rather than separate services. This shared approach is reflected in four core ways we work together:
The child care space occupies a dedicated full floor within the Together for Families building and is designed to support early learning programs serving children and families.
Amenities include:
Exclusive use of the designated child care floor
Access to shared building amenities, including meeting and training rooms
Secure building access with safety and fire systems
Elevator and stairwell access
Shared staff lounge and kitchen areas
Access to storage space within the building
On-site proximity to family-serving partners and shared community spaces
The building’s downtown location also places families within walking distance of community resources, parks, and transit.
The monthly lease for the child care space includes:
Utilities (electric, heat, air conditioning, and water)
Internet and Wi-Fi access
Building maintenance and cleaning of shared areas
Security and fire safety systems
Building insurance and capital maintenance
Access to shared meeting, training, and collaboration spaces
Inclusion in building signage identifying co-located partners
The lease is designed to remove many operational burdens so providers can focus on serving children and families.
The child care space is leased as a full-floor, dedicated space.
Monthly lease rate: $3,000 per month
Lease agreements are structured annually, with opportunities for multi-year occupancy
Monthly payment is due by the 15th of each month
Additional details regarding term length, renewal, and use expectations are outlined in the Space Sharing Agreement. Lease agreements run through December 31, 2028 with continuous renewal available.
